Haltech shift light??

ok i looked in the e6k down loaded manual all it said is 1 12volt to the light and the other to the ECU.. ok so i just run 1 from the light to the first wire i see.... come on that manual does not help at all. any help? what wire? can i use a auto meter shift light?

Come on? It helps if you have any understanding about basic wiring.
Run a switched 12v wire to one side of the light, run the other wire coming out of the light to an output on the E6K.

the wiring diagram is the last page of the manual. look through it and you will see PWM1-4 I believe and the shift light will be connected to the one you configure in the software.
