Try this AC Delco part number 213190. It's listed for an 87 Buick Grand National among other things. rockauto.com has them for $25 and lists it as 3/8 npt.

Hey Sess, what did you mean by this? haltech only has one style of sensors, their new systems, E8 and E11, an read from most all modern sensors, but thats about it.

 

i didn't find it on their website but they mentioned that u can specifiy meteric/standard on the sensors.

one x i installed was all standard but my x that i just got as both meteric/standard sensors now.

I think they killed that idea since the newer models just use the old one. Pretty sure they are different sized of sensors between the two x's that i recieved.

 

Wow, I thought all O2 sensors were 18mm x 1.5?

You are right Ret, all O2 sensors have the same threads. And people, just go to your favorite auto parts store, ask for what ever 3 or 4 wire sensor they have in stock, and is the cheapest, and use that, make sure you know that each pin is, to connet it right.

At least I think I ran one of the car types and that part number came up. I liked the $7 price...but double check that.

Did some googling on the GM air temp 25036751

Seems like the cross over is the Wells SU107 and Autozone has them for $22.

Well, I just crossed the air temp part number at Advance Auto and found the GP Sorensen 779-19001. It was $14. It is definatly lower quality then the sensor I got from Haltech.

But it is just an airtemp sensor.

 

Well, I went and tried to put the Advance Auto 779-19001 and i I picked up a Wells SU107....

I have no idea what size NPT those threads are but it is MASSIVE. The OD of the threads are .61 "

I am gonna try the GM dealer to see if I can find the temp sensor that uses 3/8 NPT.

No you dumbass, he said it was NPT thread.
The stock air temp is 10mm x 1.0.
You want something "close", use the stock FD one or anything off a Honda.

I am gonna have to say good luck on finding something that will go in the stock hole.

Asuming you already have a drill set...the tap to do the job will run you 6 bucks or so. Might be less trouble getting the GM sensor or equivlant and the tap then finding something that goes in the stock hole.

Guys, i dont know if anybody is aware or not about this, but i sell the haltech temp sensors for 25 (air) and 20 (water/oil) plus 8 dollars shipping USPS anywhere in the US. If anybody is interested they can paypal me the money indicating they need sensors and i will get back to you with a delivery time frame.

I also sell a narrow band O2 sensor with 4 wires for 65 dollars plus shipping, its a universal sensor and its very easy to wireup to the Haltech.

to get the metric thread sensors, search on ebay for haltech or aem sensor and you will find a pair for 39.99
