secondary injector testing

is there any time that the secondary injectors should be firing besides when the car sees boost? is there any way to test to make sure they are working correctly besides making sure they are wired correctly?

my reason for asking is that i went for a drive the other day and i boosted it and at around 3 psi i saw my wide band displaying 14.5. i immediately got off the throttle. This is the most i have ever boosted the motor so im not sure if it is the secondary injectors are not firing or that this turbo flows more air than the turbo for whihc the map was designed. the turbo is a gt35rs (500r) on a hbp. with 550/1680 injectors what should my injector times be at 3psi from 2000rpms upto 4500rpms? The map is a map for a stock s5 and i imported my e6k map that i got from my tuner.

the car is getting tuned saturday, i want to make sure everything is ok.

thanks

With the FC I like to plug in a spare CAS and spin it with a drill or simply by hand. You can then apply compressed air to the MAP sensor to engage the injectors. Make sure to unplug the fuel pump and the coils. You should be able to hear the injectors come on but a noid light is the best way to actually see that they're coming on.
