Cheers.

I know, but onefastrx7turbo's problem is with a K that was working on an FD and now isnt on an FC, anyway, I just got word from Haltech about the K i sent in, the official verdict is this, and i quote:

"Your E6K has been repaired this morning, we have been waiting on parts
for the E6K. The unit had a damaged switch chip, which caused the trigger
circuit to fail. The ECU has passed Haltech testing and is up to Haltech
specifications. The cost of repair comes to AUD$132.00."

Im assuming this translates to around US$97.00 for the repair, and about what? 50-60 more for them to ship it back? i hope its less, since they use FedEx officially now, but this is what i had expected the damage to come aound to. Plus the 55 i spent to ship it there.

For a 600 dollar (no longer available) ECU, that is now garanteed to work flawlessly by Haltech, i guess its a fare price, and since the harness that unit is with is in brand new condition, and its fully terminated, this makes the system worth a few bucks.

Later.

Well, not 300, but 200 for sure, on this particular issue. I guess its worth it.
