MD Ready to buy sprint re

So my ecu sucks and it's time to start pushing some real HP numbers so im doing a pretty big upgrade..

I have an S4 turbo-vert with about 250hp 550pri 680(ish)sec
stock fuel so here is the plan..

I got an s5 turbo housing from a friend of mine, sent it to tim's turbos (by the way he rocks my last rebuild he had it back ready to rock in 24 hours!!!) so hes going to put a gerrett center larger shaft and bigger compressor and hot side..dont know model num..sorry

for fuel dave at kdr said "aeromitive intank pump" its cheap and moves around 340gph i think...so that should work
injectors... im using injector dynamics 750/725 pri and 1000 sec... im not upgrading my fuel rails at this point if i get to the 400 mark then i will do that

So my questions..
does anyone have anything close to my setup?
Are you happy with the haltech?
any programing problems i should know about
and install issues???

Thanks for the info!!!

I just got my RE a few weeks ago. Still working in my rx-8 but soon I'll have my sprint RE installed. I'm running a 60-1 turbonetics with 1600cc injectors and LS1 coils.... I'll keep you posted.

Had the RE in my turbo vert for a month or two... It installed great and I had no issues. I'm running 4x ID1000 and they are awesome. Smooth idle and plenty of fuel for upgrades.

*** The only downsides are that its the bare essentials. No more inputs for anything like EGT or fuel pressure. If you want more flexibility or need more than just a better ECU for what you are currently doing then the RE is great.
