question about e8?

I have a 87 gxl. I was wondering about what I would need to run a e8 ecu.
Could I just buy one of those packages of speed machine?

Obviously I would need the ecu
do I also need sep coils?

would it make sense to buy this
http://www.speedmachineperformance.c...8+Package+Deal

would there be a problem with me running a 3 bar map sensor on my na?

can I use my lc1 wideband with the haltech or would I need to install their wideband?

or what about this deal
http://www.speedmachineperformance.c...8+Package+Deal

or would in the end it just make more sense for me to buy the parts sep?

I would really like someone to help clear these things up for me

Since you're looking at SMP stuff, why not give them a call and ask them?

Running NA, you don't need the coils - no FC does unless we're talking 300+ hp power levels.
You can run the 3-bar MAP - it makes it easier if you go boost later on.
Also, which less bars you need to adjust in the vacuum ranges, it makes for quicker tuning.
The Haltech interpolation is good enough to run NA on a 3-bar MAP no problem.

The stock FC ignition components are pretty good for plenty of power under any conditions, unless you want ot push over 600hp out of your engine, i would just buy the Harness, ECU and sensors, no need for anything else.

Oh, and i think i can beat that price, PM me if you're interested.
