If you have a combination of high and low impedance set the ECU up for low impedance. There is no degradation of performance running a high impedance injector in peak and hold mode. There is a degradation in performance by running a low impedance injector with a resistor.

Injector Current Control
The injector drivers in the ECU are capable of operating both saturation and peak and hold mode injectors. Injector current is monitored by the ECU and will be adjusted automatically.

The Injector current control has two settings, which relates to the resistance of the injectors used.

1 - 2 Ohms: This setting is for motor sport injectors with a resistance equal to or less than 2 Ohms.

2 - 14 Ohms: This setting is for all other injectors having a resistance greater than 2 Ohms.

Please note that using the incorrect setting may cause poor operation or damage to the injectors and/or ECU.

If you're running a high impedance injector in peak and hold mode, the injector is not capable of drawing more amps than the ECU can support. No way to damage the ECU. Since the injector will only draw as many amps as it's impedance will allow, there is no way to damage the injector.

Do it however you feel comfortable. You'll get better injector performance if you run without resistors though.

probably you right.

but why in haltech you must choice 3 types? 2 types of PaH and one High. What difference?
4/1 driver and 2/0.5?

with ohm law i understand that the high imp injector not get more amps. but im not understand how work driver in ECU if it in PaH mode

can anybody help with S4/S5 Streetported ignition maps?
i have EGT - 878F on 1200rpm. is this normal?
and what Air-fuel ratio must be on idle? 1200rpm? with 750cc injectors?

Wanted to know if you could help me out with a basemap...

1. 1986 FC3S
2. 13BT Jspec (S4), race ported, with the FD's UIM
3. OEM Jspec turbo
4. Haltech PS1000 13BT Kit
5. Walbro 255 fuel pump
6. Stock 13BT injectors and fuel rail
7. Stock fuel pressure regulator
8. Custom v-mount setup (Mid-Large Sized) (2.5 IN in-out intercooler)
9. 3 IN downpipe, 2 1/4 Dual exhaust with only 2 resonators, no cats
10. 3 IN intake with cone
11. LS1 coils (4 of them) MSD ignition wires
13. Stock ignition, CAS, and spark plugs
14. Using the MAP sensor built in the PS1000

Currently attempting to use the attatched basemap to get it fired and it isn't working...

Need a base map for my setup please.

'87 TII
Stock port 13bt, with 2mm cryo RA seals/race springs
stock S4 turbo/deleted twin scroll actuator
550cc/880cc injectors
stock coils
gm coolant temp, IAT, and 3 Bar Map.
Walbro 255lph

just need a base map to get it running, and check for leaks. would help a ton as i have to load it onto trailers this week, and get it to Cali to get it tuned. would suck pushing it around.

still haven't received one. there's maps in Claudio's other thread, but nothing works. i've done the right click/save as technique, and it does work that way, i just don't have a computer to support it.... waiting on a tuner still, and lack of support really sucks when you want to drive your car....

ok, here is a tought one (or at least i think so)
Haltech E6K, sa22c 12a (with the big centerports) FDintake with FDinjectors and stock FDpump
stock FCleading coil and msd blaster2 on trailing. FC CAS and t2 turbo.
got anything i can use?

Just installed a platinum 1000 in 93 FD.
Running 4 id2000, 3bar map, billet67. Does anyone have a decent base map just get get this car fired up. I can handle fuel and timing just new to haltech ecu.
