well I've read through the whole thread and can't quite find a base map that fits my car so if someone can PLEASE help me out
. so heres what i have
A S4 engine with N/A front and rear irons (6 port type mild port job). a TII center iron mild port. TII housing with TII pucks(stock exhaust ports).
S4 port matched TII intake manifold. Running the mechanical OMP.
A custom turbo manifold equall length runners (13") to a t3 flang. A holset turbo WH1c. 38mm WG to external dump.
The fuel pump is a walbro 255hp, -6 fuel line, all AN style fitting, airimotive FPR (40lb static pressure). 550 primary, 1000 secondary, stock TII fuel rails.
ZERO smog, no BAC.
direct fire ignition via 4 LS1 coils
full 3" exhaust hallowed out cat.
I would like to run a closed loop AF/R, already have a PLX 300 wideband installed.
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE

Shoot me an email, farberio, rotaryryan, and astrochild7. bdc@bdcmotorsports.com
I'll get something made for ya'll. Make sure in ya'lls emails that you list all of the specs including engine type and any modifications done, injectors, FPR, pump, turbo, etc.

Thats what i need to hear. Thanks for the comments Slo. What is your fuel pressure set at? Also, where are you located, altitude makes a lot of difference, and im basically at sea level, so most of the maps ive done for rotaries are at sea level.
If you can email me your version of the map id appreciate it that way i can review it and make mine better. Thanks again.

first a thank you to Claudio for takin the time to do all this, and the rest of the community for thier knowledge. I stand on the shoulders of giants and not only is the view spectacular, but my christ is it fast. got my car runnin nicely once i tightened the loose nut behind the steering wheel and theres no way id have been able to do it without the cumulative info on this board.
dont need so much a base map so much as a working fuel map out of someones car. currently the setup im runnin is streetported s4 tII, 3" exhaust, stock IC, stock 550's x 4, stock turbo, e6x. so the closer your setup is to that the better, but ill take any fuel map (preferrably one thats been dyno'd) just for comparison purposes. id like to see how a properly tuned map looks mainly so i can spot differences and extremes in my own.

In reality, I should be able to get by on any stock base map. At least stock ignition, coolant maps and such.
I need a base map for a Platinum Sport 1000, but E8/E11 maps work too.

not exactly mazda,, but i reckon this is the best place to ask
-- japanese chaser 1jz,, 12 Ne crank and 2 G cam senders
( set up 24 + 1 falling trigger ( rear cam ) , DF wastesparked , 3 FC leading coils )
the ECU is a dreaded E6S and is used ONLY for ignition ( LPG mixer )
-- OK have the triggers scoped and filter set up OK, ,,
[ 4.3 V gain and also the peak decay slow are the only ones enabled for both trigs ]
RPM is steady,, killed of the false zero and the crossed signals
i have the car running with timing locked
i have tried the posted 11 /65 and 10/ 95 settings with zero luck
the ONLY settings i can get it to run on is tooth 1 and 45 trig ref
that is off either cam sender,,so they are 180 out and the wastespark negates the error
the issue with this,, is i am exactly 40 late
moving the ref up retards it more
- and the 5.05 firmware will not let me take the ref below 45
( and i do know i need at least 45 there for timing curve window )
so i must choose an earlier tooth,, and a larger ref angle
i work that out to be 0 tooth and 75 to be where i am right now
and 0 ( 24?? ) tooth and 35 to get that 40 back and make TDC
and so 23 teeth and 65 becomes the first number with avail ref angle to suit
is this correct?? cant quite get my head around when it resets to tooth 24
if i am right,, then i have 23/ 65
22/95
10/95
and 11/65
in which to amount to the same thing
is this right?? and why does it not work when i try????
is there any bug in my logic,, or is there some in the 5.05 firmware
what other numbers amount to 40 degrees earlier than 1 tooth and 45 trig ??
and when i do find that TDC,,
what is the quickmap most suited for 1jz as i have no idea of the stock curve,, from which i will build an LPG curve
am currently using a 10D30D20 ( 3 bar map sensor selected )

No, the best place to ask this would be here:
http://forums.haltech.com/index.php
The Haltech forum.
Plenty of 1JZ's and 2JZ's with Haltechs out there. Even the engine management section of the Supra Forums has some people with base maps there too.

sorry claudio,, but that doesnt help me
-- old providers email hosting has expired,, and the new mob have buggered something up because it will not host me
so,, no can post
not that i think that will help either,, as i see no base maps,, and when having searched there i find
2/93,, 10/62,, 10/65,, 11/65 and 10 /90
some of them with and some without any mention of which cam sender
and NONE of these are working for me
and looking at that,, they all cant be right,,
i have 1/45 and its 40 late
i work out i need a 1 tooth an 5 degrees to make TDC
( which,, like the 24 and or zero tooth holds forbidden numbers for E6S )
i work that out to be that the senders ,, front or rear ( wastesparked )
amount to being 35 degrees before TDC or BDC
so,, 35 and 395 is going to work for me
395 SHOULD amount to 10/95 or 11/65
and both these give me the window past the expected 40 degrees of ignition advance
i would like confirmation on that,,, as they still don't seem to go for me
( yes olliscope,, and also analog meter checked for polarity )
and all i would like is what is a normal number at idle timing for a 1jz,, and to which endpoint
thats all i need to know as my curve will be custom for LPG
but i do need a start and end point ,, and that info is very lacking wherever i go
( yes,, even have a e6k map from a 1 jz and the bloody thing will not load the extension ,, even if i run a e6k program just to view it )

Anyone have a NA BP or large SP 20B map. and maybe a turbo map as well. Personally for me the turbo map wouldn't really matter much at this point but it will be nice to have one for the NA
Base map for my fc please.
