OMP and pre-mix help

Im installing an E6K on my 87 TII and was reading an old thread about pre-mixing.
https://www.rx7club.com/forum/newthr...ead&forumid=62 Whats the difference between using the stock mechanical omp with this adaptor for 2 stroke oil http://www.rotaryaviation.com/oil_in...p_adaptors.htm
and just disconnecting the omp and using pre-mix. Wouldn't pre-mix be better because it is sprayed over the entire combustion chamber through the injectors. It looks like this adaptor just gets the oil from a seperate tank (instead of the engine's oil) and sends it to the pump. I don't understand how this adaptor is supposed to be a replacement for pre-mixing. Can someone explain this to me.

I like simplicity and things that can't break, fall apart, or cause more headaches than I need which is why I just dump it in my tank. I also like the fact, which you spoke of, that is is sprayed in with my fuel and mixed nicely. I would never bother to hook up an OMP with the adapter just because it can leak, break, fall off, or work just perfectly It's up to you
