Noisy BAC valve on 13B-RE

Hi guys,

I have a 13B-RE from a cosmo in my FC. The ecu is an E6K. The BAC valve is wired correctly and it keeps the idle fine. However it's very noisy. What could cause this and how do I correct it? Is it a frequency settings or something?

I remember that I have followed a procedure on this forum to set it but the settings were for the stock TII engine. Maybe they are not the same for the 13B-RE.

Thanks!

Alex

It probably means you have the freq/period set wrong. If i remember correctly, 25 is the ideal value for FC and FD valves.

Mine is also very noisy, but I just learned to live with it. I have it set to work when the car is warming up, so it once the car is up to temp, it doesnt make any more noise.

Yea but I don't think it's normal and it may be not good for the BAC valve. I will have to check my settings as soon as I get a laptop.
