new engine - wont start

I have a new street ported engine that I just put in running a T61 with a haltech EMS, 550/1600cc injectors, jacobs ignition amp...

Got it all put back together yesterday and tried to turn it over - started turns it over just fine, but it wont start. I checked the spark at the front rotor and it has a VERY hot spark coming off of it from the Jacobs. I verified with a stethiscope type thing that the injectors are firing and fixed a fuel leak at the primary rail today that was causing no fuel pressure to reach the injectors. (RC engineering didnt put the upper o-rings on the injectors - they are rebuilt and flow tested)

THe fuel system now pressurizes via grounding the F/P connnection in the diagnostic box with no leaks up to 38 psi.

a few things I am unsure about though...

with the car turned to the "ON" position, shouldnt the fuel pump pressurize the system?? I thought so and since mine isnt, I grounded the F/P connection again and tried firing up the car that way - still nothing.

along those lines, if the fuel pump should be pressurizing the system and it isnt, could that mean that 12V is not reaching the Haltech? and would the engine still spark if the Haltech isnt telling it WHEN to spark??

there has to be some little gremlin somewhere....

sorry for the short novel - but PLEASE HELP if you can...

TIA,

Any ideas on where to measure things would be helpful

I am using a wire from the battery to that first relay for my 12V source....it is getting 12V to that relay, but I am not sure where to go from there.

When you turn on the key you should hear the fuel pump pressureize the fuel syste,. If this is not working you need to check the two 12ga orange wires to see if they are delivering power to the fuel pump. One should have power and the other should send the power to the pump. Or you can do the same thing but send ground to the pump.

Check that and let us know whats up.

ya i found all my notes on the haltech install and the manual shortly after posting this....checked the fuel pump and found that the connectors were all jacked up inside the connector and not letting a signal by

ripped them out of the connector and direct wired them....turn key - trying to fire...some little bursts of running

after a few minutes of convincing it that it wanted to start...
