Need some help with a bug in my e6k

Hey guys, need some help here. First off my car ran great until I started to clean up my engine bay wiring that leads back to my E6K. I know in the end I will have to recheck every wire. I figure I would try here first and save some time.
1st problem, engine starts idles fine but breaks up and shuts off when I try to free rev the engine. I hooked up my laptop to see if any errors were showing, none.
Any suggestions?

thanks
Gabe

check that your leading if firing.

from what I remember, the engine will idle on the trailing alone, but will do pretty much nothing else.

just a thought, but hook up a timing light, sounds like a timing issue to me.

I never cut the ignition wiring, but I will still check it out. I checked the timing, its fine. The only wires I cut and neatened up were the TPS, Injector harness and CAS.

sounds like a problem with the TPS. a mishap with the CAS would affect timing, so I would count that out. and a problem with the injector harness would probably affect everything, throughout the rpm range. Check your TPS calibration; that it is at least giving a full reading. Even if it wasn't reading at all, the haltech would probably just assume that the engine was idling, so that would be fine, but nothing else would work.

I figure the TPS as well. I remember when I wired it the first time I had a problem with the color of the three wires on the TPS. Two of the wires were different colors than they should have been. I will recheck and let you know.
