Need an answer

I want to know where people have their air temp sensor from the Haltech installed? I currently have mine installed in the stock location under the intake maniflod.

Can this location give the Haltech computer false readings since its REALLY hot at that location?

The problem is that all of a sudden the car leans out at idle and at WOT, but the funny thing is that before it was operating just fine. Now the car all of a sudden wants more gas. I use the trim box to adjust the fuel and give it 12% more fuel but it is still on the verge of leaning out.

Can this be the sign of injector failure(4x 850's)??
or a fuel pump problem?(RP upgrade)

A bit fustrating, if someone can asist that would be greatly appriciated.
Thanks Diego

Re: Need an answer

Maybe you should consider taking out the air temp compensation map off your setting. You don't need to lean out as the air temperature goes down. I think if you're using the basemap that came from haltech, you'll see a compensation map that leans out as much as 25% at higher temperature. Just zero out on whenever the the bar goes to zero and there after.
