NA Batched or Staged?

I didn't see anything addressing this when I searched. Haltech, in the F10 manual, suggests batched firing for NA rotary. I'm not sure why I would want to do this instead of staged. Any ideas?

This is defined by the size of your fuel injectors, and how much power you think you'll be making.
