Haltech Map wiring ?
Map wiring ?
I am using a E8 with a plug and play harness and I have a S5 turbo II motor and I was wondering if I could cut the map sensor plug off and wire the map into that if I could how do I wire it in?
I was looking at my mass air wiring and there are two brown/blacks and one all green wire here is a picture I just need to know which ones to use and how to wire them up to the map. I need to know were to wire the ground , the signal wire, 5+ wire
You wouldn't use the MAF connector. You need the MAP (boost) sensor connector. It's a white 3-pin connector on the passenger side strut tower. Will have a vacuum line running to the MAP sensor.
I am using the haltech plug and play and I am using a s5 non turbo wiring harness for my s5 turbo II. I just wanted to use the mass wiring for the map or can I ? If I can I just need to find out what wires to use and if I can't how do I hook it up? Thanks
You can't just arbitrarily choose what wires to use.
The NA also has a MAP sensor. The p-n-p harness is already correctly wired to the MAP sensor. So, all you need to do is cut the white connector off the harness and terminate the proper connector for the MAP sensor you wish to use.
