LMS custom harness work with Haltech?

Thinking of switching to a Haltech. I purchased my car with the adaptronic and a custom harness built by LMS for it. Does the haltech work the same as the adaptronic, where you can program the custom wiring?

it wont plug in and work, but you can re pin everything to work with the Haltech on the ECU side, or alternatively make a patch harness.

just gotta look at the wiring diagram for both ECU's and wire accordingly.

Well the adaptronic is plug n play, so the factory harness plugs in. Isn't the Haltec Elite as well? The changes to the custom harness that were done was that some of the emissions wiring was prepurposed for things like additional fuel injectors. The ECU just needs to know which wires those are.

I think you answered your own question.

If you've got a custom PnP stock harness you need to figure out if any inputs/outputs were changed.

I have a factory replacement, single turbo harness that was done by LMS EFI for my car when I had a Power FC. I upgraded to a Haltech PS1K with a patch harness and everything worked fine. I had to add a couple of inputs for fuel pressure and oil pressure sensors, but that was it. If you can find a patch harness, you shouldn't have an issue using that to go between the LMS harness and haltech.

Drop me an email and I can help you sort through it. If you know the name of who the harness was originally built for, or if it was built more recently and has a serial number, I can pull the build and info and we'll know exactly what you're dealing with. We can also provide the Haltech pieces. chris@lms-efi.com

I'd go the route of having ludwig make you a custom patch harness to go from the elite to the harenss pinout in the custom harness like he suggested. Gangster rigging the wiring to make something work would invalidate the entire point behind a custom LMS harness, those things are too nice and purpose driven to hack up.
