Hey fella's im getting more confident with tuning my haltech, i have it pretty conservative throughout the power band. 11.2:1 in boost and maybe 12.2:1 throughout the light throttle range.

Im wondering if there is anything i can use to help with tuning timing? Timing seems to be the most challenging for me because i have no way to monitor it. Ive read a few tuning books, and feel confident i could do it with some sort of light, or device to warn me when im entering a knock condition.

I know i could always buy those I/O boxes for the haltech and run that closed loop setup thats advertised in this section. howevor that seems kind of pricey. is there any other simple solution?
