injector wiring

Does it matter how the injectors are wired, or does the signal haltech wire need to be on the positive side of the injector and the ground to the ground side of the injector? I was under the impression that it doesn't matter but I want to make sure!

I also have stock primaries and 1600cc secondaries. I believe the 550's are on inj 1 and inj 2 whereas secondaries are one inj. 3/4
Is this okay?
Sorry for the newb questions, but my car ran great with the stock fuel setup but I upgraded to 1600cc secondaries and now I cant get them to fire (I need to drive to the tuner)

You don't ground any side of the injector. 12V (on with ignition) goes to one side, and the other goes to the ECU (which then internally grounds the injector to complete the circuit and switch it on).
It doesn't matter which around the 2 wires are on the injector though.
You will need to change the settings for the Secondary injectors also, as they will need to be peak-and-hold now assuming they are Indy Blue's like I think they are. Primary Injector settings remain the same. They should work fine though, I would just expect it to flood the engine as soon as the secondary injectors are active.

yeah I will be getting a re-tune for sure.
So I need to go into the fuel setup page and change the fuel map #2 to peak-hold?

No not the fuel map, go into the fuel settings and change injector 3 and 4.

When I go into the injector current setup, there's only one box for injectors 1-6. How would I change just injector 3 and 4?

oh really? hmm, not sure then sorry, you may have to run resisters with them then (or may not have to), hopefully someone who has fresher experience with and E8 can advise, It has been long time since I looked at one.

I dont know. In the manual, it says the haltech has built in drivers.
I think I'm just over looking something. I have BDC whipping up a base map so its probably just a user error.
