Which Injector to use??

HI all,
I am going to be converting my turbo 12a ti FI this winter and had a few Q's. I do plan on using a Haltech. I am going to be using a TWM Weber IDA style throttle body with 4 injector's. I have read of other setups similiar to mine where they are using 4 550cc inj. However I am wondering if that is not quite enough. I will be trying to acheive 300whp, will that be enough injector? Will I be able to tune the injector pulse widths seperatly as in sort of a primary/secondary?
As far as drivability, would it possibly make more sense to run a smaller primary injector and a larger secondary?
Just thought I would ask for some input here, as the Haltech section seems to have the most knowledge.
Thank you for any input.

Well, that will depend on how much power you want out of it and what turbo are you getting and how much will you boost it.

300 at the wheels?
You'd need at least 4 x 720 or something equivalent.

4 x 550's are only good for around 240 at the wheels.
This is all assuming "stock" fuel rail pressures - 40psi @ 0 atmosphere.

There's a basic fuel injector calculator link somewhere.
It's on the Rx7.com website.

Hey Ted,

I have 2 calculators for fuel injector flow, the RC Engineering and one from the Autronic website, and they give different results, but the autronic apparently assumes a fixed BSFC number, with the RC one you can change all that.

At any rate, according to them, a 12A turbo, shooting for 350 flywheel HP, would need 4x630-750cc injectors to make that amount of power. The best solution for him, and the cheapest one, is to get those new Siemmens (thin) Deka injectors, they flow 630cc's at 43psi and find them for about 65 bucks each.

Hey, thanks for the replys guys. 4x720 sounds reasonable. Do you have the links for these injector calculators, if not, im sure Ill have no problem findong them.
Is it possible to tune the injectors seperately. Like a primary secondary setup. Or will I basically allways have to be pulsing both injectors for the same rotor?

Ive also come to realize that there a alot of options for the IDA style Throttle body I will be needing. As in alot of compnays offer it. Does anyone have any recommendations?
Thanks

Just find what ever suits your budget and has a good reputation. You can set up the injectors in stagging mode, which will control the primaries first then the secondaries after a certain load, if you download any of the turbo base maps you will see what i mean.

But you could also run them in multipoint mode, this would fire them all at the same time, but it might not be the best choice. It all depends on what the engine likes.

i would do 4 1,000cc injectors so if you upgrade the turbo later or decide to run more boost your injector will support the mods
