Haltech Ignition Timming and adjustment??? Confusion?

I dont give a flying rats backside how many posts you have or what you may or may not call knocking. Any uncontrolled combustion increases your effective cylinder pressure. This additional pressure is what blows out your apex seals. Your flame is no longer propegating at a consistant rate - rather its reaching an uncontrolled ignition point. What do you think is making that rattle noise? its the sudden change in cylinder pressure - it doesnt matter how you hear it, microphone, ears, sensor.....its still uncontrolled flame propagation.
Tune your car as you like - but if you end up sweeping it up off the floor then think about whether it went rattle rattle and you were backing things off !!!

Detonation is uncontrolled explosions, due to poor ignition / fuel tuning. This fuel is igniting before it should, causing the rotor so much stress it jumps around in there. So if you cant hear it its ok ? WRONG. If you are not too sure about this topic see your local Professional tuner, dont listen to a Hack in a forum to tell you how to blow your motor up. im sure we can all do that.
Now, ill probably never be back to this forum, i was just so intrigued to see that no-one in here was arguing with that reted clown (with the exception of Bond) . Maybe it is time for him to hang up his 12000 posts, and go build a car or something. Obviousy all his time is spent on the key board.

I never SAID to push the ignition timing till you HEAR detonation.
