idle control motor

Is this the right idle control motor that i should be running on my haltech e8? The housing is not an issue as i am doing a custom setup on a FD uim for my FC. thanks

The first one is the older style GM stepper motor, the same one Haltech sells, and they have it as part of a kit too with the housing and hose fittings to be installed remotely.

Its also documented and they have the settings for it.

Hey Claudio, I bought this one http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...=STRK:MEWNX:IT

I have it in my hands right now and I have a copy of the haltech housing that someone made up in the usa and wasn't using it. My question is the where the head of the valve actual sits inside the housing. As I still have the engine out of the car(can't test it) and this is the first time putting it on-I'm unsure, is the head suppose to be sitting inside the cutout groove-I mean without power? Or when it powers up it'll move down more to seal the groove? It looks like it's a few millimeters too short. Are all the older style 4wire iac motors the same? From what I remember Land-Range Rover at one time used to be gm or chrysler. Thank you very much.
