well i bought this t11 with 550prim. 1600sec. t70 turbo tubular maniflod aeromotive fpr kg fuel rail supra fuel pump ex.. well i got it home and tried starting it but it wont start.. it doesnt even attempt to start .. i think its running on the base map.. well it has spark and fuel so i have no idea... some one help please i need to get this running asap

well i really dont know i just got it yesterday.. i dont know if it the haltech or something minor.. it should still start with low compression right..

 

Heltech.should be Haltech
T11 should be TII.
and ya,clean the plugs and try a deflood if you can on that car of yours.
See if you can get more info on the Ecu Maps( in the car) as you said you just bought it,Right?

Odd question but, did you Drive it home?

If so, was there a large elevation change involved from where you purchased to where you parked it?

What model Haltech is it? They generally dont come with base maps that are worth a crap. No starts that I have seen are generally due to the coolant maps being ramped up too high or the lock timing being out.

 

well it has e6k and no i didnt drive it home i towed it 4 1/2 hours.. well i did get it to start and it idles high around 1700rpms. i havent hook up the wide band yet so i dont know the afrs..the map im running i have no clue i just down loaded one that was already pre loaded.

 

well i know this is going to be a dumb question but im new to heltech so here it goes! how do i read the maps? like how would be able to post them up so you guys could see what map im running? im confused..

 

you should download the haltech manual and read it.

 

You also will want to get an old laptop to use with the haltech. Something with windows 98 or previous (so you have DOS) will make things easy. You can probably find one for $20-$50.
