HAs anyone ever tried to DOsbox a windows 7?

I have an e6x. Hoping dosbox would work with windows 7

On one of my laptops it works, on the other it freezes sometimes when online.

Sure, works just fine, but you do have to tell windows to run DosBox to "Run As Administrator", right click the shortcut in the desktop for DB and in the compatibility options select the RAA option to ON.

Also, go here. All should be clearly explained. If you have an old E6X black box you can probably stick with Dosbox and dos software, if you have a modern red box with new label and no built in map sensor, you can use v1.25 of the HalwinX software and it should work just fine, no need for DOS box.

Also, tell the HalwinX short cut to run as administrator as well.
