Unhappy Haltech Warranty Experiences?

The FC I just bought had a Haltech e6x installed in it but the previous owner got it wet. The shop that installed and tuned it is a Haltech dealer so they contacted the headquarters in Australia and are having another one shipped over under the warranty (or maybe some sort of insurance). It's been a few weeks and both I and the shop are getting a little annoyed. Does anyone have any experience with this? How long should this take? Is this due to internal bureaucracy or do they ship it via olympic swimmer with haltech duct-taped to back?
Any thoughts?

For US related things of this nature you should really contact the US office, its a lot easier than dealing with the Australia HQ because of shipping times, costs, customs, etc.. But i find it strange that they would replace a unit under warranty from getting it wet.
