Haltech and stock equipment compatibility

I am wondering how well the haltech integrates with stock equipment such as cruise control, a/c and other ecu functions in a 87 TII, I am thinking of going haltech but I want to retain the creature comforts in my car, is this possible with the haltech, or does yanking the stock ecu not effect the operation of these accessories, I suppose the a/c input would have to be programmed in to up the idle speed, but what about the cruise control etc etc? Do a search and you will see what you lose (which is not much). A/C, cruise and other things all stay if you want them.

Yeah, kinda what I thought, I have been reading alot of stuff from the hitman site and what not, kinda interested in the plug and play kit from K2rd that they have on their website, I am almost ready to plunk down the cash and buy the haltech, the new wolf seems to share alot of the features, however the haltech looks to be the industry standard in which all others are measured against, and the amount of maps available online is impressive, the new AEM system looks equally impressive, however the following is not there for the info database to be easy to get at though.
I want my car to remain as streetable as it is with the stock ecu, I hate it when equipment and stuff does not work, or is left there as a "hole" filler, the haltech seems to have alot of outputs and what not for controlling various functions. Its interesting that it has a boost controller output as well, I guess my profec a will be up for sale to offset the cost of the haltech buy.

Keep your Profec even if you buy the Haltech. I have seen the new Wolf and it is okay. It uses windows which the E6K does not, but other than that it is pretty much the same as the E6K. It is nice that Wolf finally decided to come up to date, although they will be behind the times by the end of the year when everyone else comes out with there new products (ie AEM).
