Haltech and Smog?

Is it possible to smog a standalone?

not legally in California. any part that is not OEM must be CARB legal with appropriate reference number on part. lots of non legal ways around these laws.

yes, it could be tuned to pass the sniffer, but this means little to the smog ****'s here in California. without the CARB number the ECU is not legal. if the smog tech doesn't see it does not make it legal.

Bah, I have people who don't look

What about a bridgeport with carbon seals running a haltech?
