Haltech Install - What all to remove.
Here is my current setup plans and what I am getting on my 90 TII stock engine.
SR Divided Cast Manifold
TO4E 1.15 AR Turbo
Tial BOV
Tial 46mm Wastegate
720cc Primaries
1600cc Secondaries
NPR FMIC
Aluminum Radiator
Haltech
Walbro Fuel Pump w/ Rewire
Black Magic Electric Fan
Underdrive Pullies 2 belts
Emissions aren't a problem so I would like to remove everything that isn't needed to run. I am also going back down the checklist for FC's at:
http://fc3s-pro.com/TECH/FM2W/power.htm
just to make sure I am doing things in the right order.
I have removed the ACV and EGR, Airpump, and alot of other things. What all needs to be removed or can be removed once the Haltech is being installed. What needs to stay? CAS and Injectors are about the only thing right?
Thanks

Well....hmm...I was only planning on running 10-12lbs of boost till I get a chance to port my engine. Will that pump be able to keep up if not which pump should I look at next that will work with the stock system. I really dont want to go to aeromotive and 10AN lines just yet.
Thanks

Yeah, dunno about the pump. I would just use it with a good fuel pressure gauge and see how it goes. Basically all you need to run the engine is spark, fuel, and the brains All the vacuum lines can go and basically just strip the engine down to as little as possible. The rewire will be gone if you hook up the pump via the instructions, which of course is better. Here are a few things I wish I would have taken more time on:
-Make all wires plug and play. It is nice when diagnosing and changing things.
-Clean up the wires.
-OH! Big thing. I think it was Poweraxle who did this but if you want to run stock injectors, or the non-bosch style, you can splice the other plugs into the harness rather than cutting them off.
Peace from the orient.
