Haltech help..

my shop is currently installing and tuning my haltech E6K.. but when it was installed he couldn't get it to work.. its a used ecu that came off of a wrx... what could be the problem?

- have to reset the ecu ?
- it doesn't work?
- something wrong with harness?
- is there some things i should check for?

and my guy says he needs to get a sensor enhancer to get it working? is this right?
- hehe dont wanna name shop .. i wanna check if they know whats going on and maybe the forum can help out too..

thanks!
(suggestions and answers only please - no smartass remarks are not needed)

need more info. engine type, CAS type, turbo?, etc. more info the better. typical 13b engine can use the stock CAS(2nd or 3rd gen) without "enhancers", stock coils work fine and instalation by a reputable shop should only take a day or so(depending if it is astreet or track car). many people on this and other forums have detailed instalation write ups if you want to see what it takes to do this job. ECU could be damaged(only easy way is to try it on another car that is up and running).
