Haltech in a FD. where did you mount it?

title says it all.
where did you all mount your haltech? i wired mine with about a foot of the wiring in the cabin. i thought i would mount it where the stock ecu went. it is a bit of a PIA with that thick *** harness. did anyone put it anywhere else? i was thinking to cut the clovebox up and mount it behind the glovebox. any help?

i figured as much, but i think i left to much slack in the harness. (would need to be wrapped up to not show) now i know for next time.
i could pull it (the slack) through the firewall, but that defeats my cutting eveythign to fit neatly up front.
oh well...
