Haltech E6S

I'm looking at buying a used E6S. The guy says he has 3 ignitors that needs to be installed. I've never heard about having to change out the ingitors for this ECU. Is the info I'm getting correct. I'm looking at getting the ECU, 3 ignitors, harness fully terminated for $1k is this a good price considering the E6K is out? Should I just put out the extra cash for the E6K?

spend the extra money for the E6K the S does not have as good a built in reluctor for the stock CAS. I tried to use this setup and had to wire in some signal conditioners and it never worked. installed the K and the car started on the first try. seems the S does not pick up the signal from the stock CAS very good. if you are using a custom built chopper wheel then it will work fine. but for ease of install I would only use the K
