I would have posted this over there but didnt feel like going though all of that.. Wouldnt it be best to have both a fuel and ignition be best? I mean if you have just a ignition cut then the fuel can still be ignited and if you have a fuel cut then some of the fuel can still get into the engine if not done right. So either was there are cons right?? Or am i just understanding this wrong? Is there any ways to do both??

Most people don't realize that it's HARDER to set up a stand-alone ECU for street driveability, rather than WOT runs down the 1/4-mile.  Any monkey can do WOT runs - hell, Haltech has a single full load 2D map that you can use to run 1/4-mile drag runs all day long an not touch a single bar of the 3D maps...

It amazes me how many people as of late call themself professional tuners by the results they get at the 1/4 mile instead of the real, true and the only one that matters which would be total customer satisfaction. I have said this many times before just about every stand alone ecu out there presently is capable of getting the job done as long as the person doing the job is doing it well. It's true you can get different or better results depending on the level of performace one is looking for from every unit but that is also depndent on the person doing the tuning is capable of extracting what that particular ecu is capable of.
It's funny but the last time I check it was not only the type of ecu that made a car the winner at the track be it 1/4 mile racing, road racing or most important a true reliable daily driven automobile. Remember it's not only the ecu's fault when a car does not start on the 1st try!
