haltech e6k help

ok.. i have a stock 89 turbo2 with fmic, full 3 inch exhaust( no cat), intake, no bac, blocked emissions, block omp(premix), electric fan. ok so i download a base map from here on the forum and setup the ignition and primary settings. when i crank it takes forever to start and when it does it doesnt idle very high, probably around 450 rpm. if i rev it it only goes up to around 3000 rpm and it misfires alittle and then drops rpm till it dies. i did a compression test before and all faces were even at about 90 psi. what should i check? i didnt hook up the o2 sensor yet but would that cause it to act like that. i'll post up the igntion and fuel maps.

most maps on the forum are very generic you will have to adjust with fuel and timing to gain a proper idle
check and see if the timing lock is on or off as well...

i set it on -5*, and went off leading #1 plug wire and lined up the yellow mark, locked the cas and then turned the lock off.

Which base map are you trying to use (post a link) I'll view it and tell you if the car should run on the map.

If the map's fine then there's other issues. FWIW though, I've found most base maps are generally fine to start the car. They're richer then Bill Gates playing Bingo, but they work.
