Getting ready to install haltec!!!

Well the time has finally come to install my Haltec!! I've been beating around the bush and really did not feel like paying 500 smackaroos to someone to do it. So i will be doing it myself.
Any helpful advise would be appreciated also BDC motorsports will be doing the start-up and base maps.

Do you have a wiring harness, or are you making one?

If you make one, solder, silicone and heat shrink all connections.

Be careful to save the windshield wiper wires from the old harness for later.

I can't think of anything else off hand

Hitmans site has a great write-up on installing a E6K. I used those directions for the installation of my E6X.

By silicone I meant sealant around the solder joint inside the heat shrink to keep the water out.

I am not sure what you call it.
