E8 V1.89. Autronic 500R CDI.

I select the ignition switch to on all four coils fire. Is this normal?

I found this out because I have a leaking fuel injector. (Or so I think) I turned the ignition on and BOOM! Thought WTF and pulled the plugs out to see if they were firing when I turn the ignition on and BAM it does.

Is this a haltech or Autronic issue?

 

It's pretty common to most ignition systems. Stock or otherwise. Ask me about the two-stroke expansion chamber explosion I was a part of many years ago!
