Fd vehical speed sensor, to elite 1500

i have a fd vehical speed sensor with a spi and signal ground wired directly to the haltech 1500, what settings would i need to get this up and running, i looked at the fd base maps and they have it set to a hall effect , falling edge and pull up resistor enabled,
but is the sensor is self a hall effect , or does a stock fd cluster convert it to a digital square wave for the speedo, i have a feeling since its a 2 wire sensor, its not a hall effect and ill need different setting to get it to work

Are you connecting directly to the sensor in the trans or taking speed from the cluster at the stock ecu connector?

The trans sensor is VR. So signal ground to one side and SPI to the other. Set as reluctor sensor. Edge shouldn’t matter.

The signal from the cluster is square wave. Use the Haltech settings for that.

Sorry! I'm dumb and forgot to mention it's a fd vss in a fc3s trans, so it's going directly to the haltech since I don't have the fd cluster!
