FD Starting problems

Ok, I'm running into some starting problems now. Fuel is good, spark is good... however, my E6K is reading 180 RPMs and it sounds like it's cranking a heck of a lot faster than that.

When I turn the key it just spins and spins without catching... any ideas?

Not a lot to go on, but thought maybe some of you guys had seen the same problem and might know a fix.

180rpm is the normal rpm to read during cranking. Could be a number of things making it hard to start.

ok... that's what I wasn't sure of... I read another thread about some "pull down resistor" or something on the Haltech that might have needed to be pulled. It just sounded faster than 180.

Thanks Hitman!
