fd and haltechs?

ok im helping a guy ... im building his motor and he wants to go with a standalone.... hes wanting 10's anyway..... will a haltech work wit hthe stock omp? the game plan is to put the motor in and run it in stock trim for a few k miles then start the swwaping of stuff like turbos, ic, blah blah blah and the guy wants to keep stock omp so he wont have to premix. if so what units will replace the stock ecu 100% (meaning run the omp)?
anybody running this unit and having issues?

E11 with B19 firmware works very well from what I understand. Otherwise, convince your friend to dump oil metering and go premix.

The E11 is an awesome piece of gear.

But I'm still running pre-mix...
