FD fuel level sensor

The stock fuel level sensor isn't working properly as many do. The car sat for many years and the unit was corroded but I did manage to clean it and get some response. The issue is that it's not working properly. So I wanted to know if there is a way to wire in the Haltech fuel level sensor to the factory fuel level gauge.

Haltech doesn’t make a fuel level sensor. They make a signal conditioner but it still requires a working sending unit. Sounds like you need to buy a new or good used sending unit.

A.I. One Designs just made a batch of new production fuel level sensors (full disclosure for the mods I don't work for them and I didn't buy one, but I am a customer of theirs and they make great stuff). He sells them through hishttps://www.facebook.com/A.I.One.Support/... https://www.facebook.com/A.I.One.Support/
Luckily mine still works or I'd be buying one.

I just set mine up and wired the factory FD sender directly into the IC7. Works great

Which wire did you use? I’m assuming one from the speedo connectors? And which spot on the ic7 did you wire it?

I ran two wires from the sending unit and plugged them into the IC7 connector with the provided terminals

Please look at the ic7 wiring diagram. You will need to provide it a ground and a sensor input for fuel level. Pins are identified in the Haltech config diagram.

You can determine the oem wires by looking at the dash harness for the car.
