Elite 2500 PnP on sequential twins

I have a question about sequential twins and Elite PnP functionality. On the stock system I believe the 5 speed trans has a 1st and 2nd gear sensor, for which the purpose is to influence the sequential system via the ECU and solenoid control.

When using the Elite 2500 PnP, does this functionality remain? Is it controllable?

It is not accounted for in the Haltech PNP harness / box. If you really wanted it you could bypass the box for that pin and wire it directly into one of the spare inputs. However in my opinion the spare inputs are more valuable for other things seeing as the Haltech can calculate gear on its own. You can use that calculated gear position to do any control strategy you would like. This would make the 1-2 sensor redundant.

The only advantage I could see would be the ability to know if you are in 1st or 2nd gear when you are not moving. IMO the calculated gear position is more than adequate if you are only using it for boost control strategies.
