1993 usdm. Elite 1500 with terminated harness. Engine harness completely removed wiring to transmission is missing. I'd like the oem dash to work with speedo. How can I wire the VSS directly to the dash (or a cabin plug) and then to the haltech? Thanks in advance.

 

So from trans to cluster im going to try and wire directly to the x14 pin as stated below ( from grannys, lmk if this seems right/wrong). How do I get cluster to haltech?

green (manual cars) or green w/ black stripe (automatic cars)...this wire went to the signal side of the RX-7's VSS sending unit, which was located in the driver's side of the RX-7 transmission's tailhousing. If you are tracing the dash harness half of this X-14 connector, this wire changes to yellow w/ red stripe.
...orange (manual cars) or blue (automatic cars)...this wire went to the ground side of the RX-7's VSS sending unit, which was located in the driver's side of the RX-7 transmission's tailhousing. If you are tracing the dash harness half of this X-14 connector, these wires change to yellow w/ white stripe.

 

youre going to use any available spi for the speedo on the haltech. for getting the speedo to work with the harness you have, you will just follow the wiring diagram as you are. youll need to split the wire to the x14 and to the haltech if you want it to know speed. if you dont care for that then you would just run the wires according to the stock diagram
