E6X trigger issues

Hello, I recently finshed my haltech install among other parts and so on.

well last night i went to test fire her to check the trigger and so on, everything was fine, it picked up a steady trigger and so on.

I go out there today and nothing no pickup at all, Any idea what may have caused it, I know my actually CAS is working when cranking I can pick up about .650 Volts.

Im not sure what its supposed to be.

Any ideas?

if the battery isn't charged enough...I've experienced no pick-up.

make sure all GNDs are solid.

What are your gains? It seemed on mine, 0 worked the best.

I had the battery issue just this weekend. Had to replace the battery, charging would not fix it. I also had a bad or loose connection at the CAS connector. Use dielectric grease on all the connector to insure a good connection.

well,

I checked all the gounds, there as short as possible and very solid,

my battary is brand new redtop.

its weird, sometimes it works with the gain at 0, sometimes at 2, once at 7, it just randomly start to work, then dies. I think the unit is messed up, I email haltech but havent heard back from them yet.

Has anyone used the S1 or S2 switchs with a chopper wheel on any application? I was thinking this may give a clearer signal. I was thinking to build a wheel and bracket and see how this works. so anybody with some first hand experience please leave your results.

the e6x i run will receive no cas signal for about 3 sec sometimes, then it starts working. mabye you need to crank it a little longer.

I am cranking for at least 10-20 seconds with the injectors turned off,

Ive been gone all week so I think im going to try a few more things before i send it in.

first, does anyone about how much voltage the cas should be making while cranking? that could help me test it.

I also noticed my connector wires were all rock hard, so im going to see if i cant repair the connector and see if that fixes it.

I recently had an issue with the CAS connector and I know rted has had issues with this plug before. To test the CAS you would need an oscillascope(sp?). for my problem I just disconnected the plug cleaned it with contact cleaner and put some dielectric grease on the connectors. I also find that a new(not cleaned) set of spark plugs helps to get untuned engines running easier. good luck
