There is a direct replacement coolant temp sensor. You will need to drill and tap a hole for the air temp sensor. Since your car is an S4 you will need to fabricate a mount for the Haltech TPS sensor or convert to an S5 throttle body/S5 TPS sensor. Does that answer your question?

You need the throttle body too. The S4 TB does not have the proper cam to run the S5 TPS. Yes, they work just fine.
