E6X ign problems...

guys im trying to install a E6X on my 2nd gen FC and im having trouble getting spark.. I got fuel and i get a RPM reading of 180rpm's while cranking so i know my CAS is wired conrrectly... i just cant get spark... i checked all the grounds nad triple checked my wiring to the ignitors/coils. I did notice something weird though... i get 12V on both terminals on the coil!! i know that cant be right as the haltech should send a ground to trigger the ignitor... all the ign outs from the haltech seem to have 12V on them... im thinking the haltech drivers are messed up sending 12V's instead of ground signals to the coils.... anyone have the same problem?

There was someone else having a similar problem. Do a search on here as well as on www.teamfc3s.org/forum uner ems. he ended up sending his back to Aus for repair.
But 180 RPM's seems a bit low for cranking, I would suggest bumping up the gain for the triggers one more point or making 100% sure you have a good battery.

180 is actually typical.
I usually see either 180 or 220 during cranking.
Weird, I don't usually see any other numbers other than those two.

Yeah the same exact thing happened to mine, it was getting the strange voltage reading and, because of that i had to send it to aulstrailia to get fixed but they took care of it no problem, they said that it most likley at one time had 12V sent back through the wire which messed it up it sucks i know, it ened up costing me 150 in shipping and like 50 for the repairs, i was surprised the repairs werent under warranty because it was no more than two weeks old but oh well.
