can i just run 12v to the pump or do i need to drop it to 9v

I assume you mean that you want the fuel pump to run with less voltage under cuise and idle? The Haltech normally just sends voltage to the pump, i wouldnt do it, but stranger things have been known to requested.

well i was testing the pump on my t2 the other day and was seeing 9 volts so i was thinking the pump was a 9 volt pump guess im wrong

Never mind, lol I found it. It runs 9 volt to save gas at idle but 12 when running so I'm good, thanks for the help though.
