I just receive my Haltech e6k and i feel like i need to go to devry. ( just kidding)

One question there is a wire diagram on here for installing the e6k in the FD, after installation can i unplug the stock ecu and the e6k still run the car if I go by the wire diagram and run my own wires to all the sensors?

I just want a clean installation with no stock wiring.
Can somebody who have installed the e6k into a FD with out using any of the stock wiring please help me.

And what is the best thing to do with the Oil metering pump.
