Exclamation e6k wireing question

Hi

I have an 87 t2 and im trying to wire up my haltech e6k and i have it all done except I need to wire 12v's to the coils. What wire on the stock wiring harness do i splice into to give the coils 12v's? Ive bin told its a black with yellow stripe but i dont seem to be geting any voltage to that wire? Ive tryed to look it up on the fsm but the mazda wiring diagram seems makes no sence and the colors dont match. just wondering what you guys have yours wired to. I was thinking about just running 12vs from the battery w/ and inline fuse back to the wire next to it (its a white wire) so when i turn the key on it will be switched on. what do you guys think thanks.

The coils get power from the main relay, if they arent getting power check that, maybe the main fuse is blown or one of them. Or if you took out the stock vehicle harness they might be missing power.
