E6k: Key ON, Fuel Primes. Key START, nothing??
Is it supposed to be like this? I think no, but I'm not 100% sure. With the key to ON, I hear the pump prime and the light on the switch turns on (I have a LED pump killswitch). That's 100% normal and it's always been working for me. When I turn the key to start, I hear nothing and the light goes off. The pump isn't running when I hold to start. What happened? Or is this all normal and the pump isn't supposed to run while cranking? I don't remember it being like this...
I also verified the E6K still has power by connecting to the laptop. Held to start, the software is still online. So when I'm "starting", I see the system has power/is online.

hmmm, I wanna say thats not right because I just finished my wiring and tested that function and it primes and comes back on when I crank. I cant tell you anything past that because I have not been able to connect to it and get online, its being a PITA.
Car hasnt started yet.

its timing out apon intial key on,, and shutting off
during crank it isnt seeing any CAS rpm,, and so,, does not re-commision the pump
CAS issue,, or perhaps possibility the starter is poled and is consuming all the current while cranking

EDIT!
OK that's my answer, computer needs speed signal otherwise pump won't run. Sounds like a basic safety function if anything else.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm trying to rule out things. Stupid thing I did though was disconnect the starter wire from the main relay, other wise I'd never hear the pump while cranking. I probably answered my own question though... I am thinking now the e6k needs to see an engine speed to run the pump when held to "start" right?
Fuel primes to 40PSI so the pump is outputting normally as far as that point.
Other than that, the car went from running fantastic, to running like ****, to ultimately not running at all in one afternoon after changing NOTHING. Very disheartening.

( always save your changes and never disconnect by simply pulling the plug )
i would double check the ignition and filter settings to be sure they are there and still set up for Vr
look through the main fuel and rev maps to see if some of the higher bins have been nearly zero'd
( this is the corruption bug but AFAIK it was never an e6K issue )
if you have a previously saved version of your tune,, you could try uploading it again
also,, physically check the CAS air gap,,, route the CAS wiring away from the alt and the ignition leads,,check the CAS grommet for a wiring short to the CAS body
and try new leads ( and sometimes plugs )
as if the problem has suddenly crept up,, it may well be a very noisy faulty lead or plug
( and that is all it takes )

Thanks for the suggestions
I did try to re-upload the tune. I am careful with the laptop, I always turn the program off and never take the cable out with it running.
I am leaning towards the plugs. Yesterday it was running/driving great, but it started up VERY rich in the low 10's (too much coolant correction), but pulling good vacuum @ 18 inches. But it did warm up and eventually leaned out to nice AFR's. Later on I went to start again and it was very rich again, but did NOT lean up as it warmed up. And was pulling around 14 inches of vacuum. I discovered there was a vacuum leak and plugged it, but it stayed rich anyway and my vacuum was poor. This morning I took the plugs out and they were all caked up. I cleaned them off, but now the car didn't want to run. It was after-firing like crazy. Once it ran with the help from my foot but was super super lean. Eventually I had to stop because of the after-firing. Dogs were barking and people were screaming and I heard sirens. I'm not kidding.
I verified though the lead coil is sparking by turning the CAS by hand hearing the ticking. But it didn't sound like the plugs were ticking (firing) themselves.
These plugs are 16 months old, and have been through failed injectors, coils and now this.
I hope this is it because winter is here.
