The E11 is perfectly capable of doing Launch Control, there are 2 ways of doing it, one is doing an Anti-Lag swich, wich retards the timing a whole bunch thus increasing load and boost before you launch, this can be activated with any of the Auxiliary Inputs. The other option is using the Auxiliary RPM Limiter, which is also activated with the Aux. Inputs, and what this does is just give you a secondary limiter before the actual limiter, allowing you to open the throttle all the way for launching.

There is also the posibility of running both options for better control and to make less stress on the engnie. But, what ever you do choose, you should document your self very well, because you can cause serious damage to your engine when you are doing the launch control.

So, be careful.

What Claudio said - the only additional "external electornics" you need is a switch and some wire.

Just use what ever Auxiliary In wire you want, enabling the Auxiliary RPM Limit as the function to activate, when you're at the line, flip the switch to ground (or just use a button and hold it on) with that wire, when you launch make sure you turn it off, otherwise it will remain active.

The Aux. In functions are under the Digial Input Functions in the Options tab, and the settings are right there too. I would suggest you use ignition cut, but if anybody has the pro's and con's of going with either fuel or ignition cut in this case please speak up. Also, can a combination of both Anti Lag and Aux. RPM Limit be used effectively at the same time? What would be the benefits or not of doing it that way?

Ok Claudio i did exactly as you said all i have to do is wire up the switch ,i am using Aux Input 1 and thats a grey/green wire on the E11.So i guess all i have to do is connect one side of the switch to the grey/green wire and the other side to ground,is that correct.

Yes, eggsactly... when that wire is grounded the function is activated. Dont forget to enable it and set the proper limit in the software.
