E11 good to go

I just wanted to drop a note that with the help of Haltech Aus (Adam in particular), the revised firmware version has fixed the ignition problems we've been having with the E11 on a Kouki turbo FC3S.&nbsp The car runs pretty damn smooth in sequential mode (not possible with the prior E6K).&nbsp Full story is on the Haltech Support list on Yahoo Groups.

Congratulations

Well done on getting it all running, Ted...

They're having a few problems with my Series 7 still, unfortunately It was due to go on the Dyno today, but they're having some strange timing problems at the moment..

I tried to look at the Yahoo Group you mentioned, but as I wasn't a member it won't let me in.. any idea how long it takes them to process a membership on there?

The membership typical takes about a week, but it's highly dependent on the admin's free time.

If you need the firmware file, I've got it on my site...

Please don't try and use the maps in there!&nbsp Those maps are from people who have asked me to look at their particular maps which they have been having problems with!

As a side note, I heard there is another "glitch" in that particular firmware.&nbsp Sorry, I don't have the particular details on what it is, but Haltech Aus is working on it with a new firmware revision which should be released soon.

I know this particular firmware fixes the ignition problems we were having, and it's good enough to have the car up and running well.&nbsp I'll drop more details once they have been announced.

Trailing Ignition

Ted,

Did you have any trouble getting the timing on the trailing plugs right??

PS - any chance of emailing me a copy of the notes that are on the Yahoo group, while I wait for my membership to be approved?

There's a lot of useful information that has been swapped since the release of the E11.&nbsp I would try and wait to get access as a member, as there was stuff I didn't write myself.&nbsp If you want the text I've sent to the list, I'd be happy to send it to you - drop me an e-mail address in PM.
