Requesting downloading Halwin V1.89.
I'm trying to load 1.89 but it keeps popping up "requested com port is being used by another application".
Windows version is xp 32 bit.

 

what computer are you running ?,

Does it have a serial port ?

Go to:
--> start tab
--> Device manager
--> Ports (COM & LPT)

you will now see the COM ports listed as
(COM1) (COM2) , etc.


see what is listed.

Halwin is probably trying to connect to COM1 , which you are using for another aplication.

Go into HAwin software " OFFLINE" , go to setup, com information, and change it to a free com port ( after you went to device manager, and see which com ports are in use ).

Then in halwin, save, and sign off, then try going into the software with online method.
